To my valued clients,
Thank you for your loyalty during the
eight years that I have been providing computer support to the
Monadnock Region and beyond. Unfortunately, Midgard Technologies is
closing down this year and will completely cease operation on March
31, 2011. This letter includes a list of computer support companies
in the area that you may want to contact. Within a few weeks, you
will receive a letter with passwords and any other information you
need to transition to a new computer support company. Also, I will
continue to monitor email and voice mail to respond to any questions
or concerns you have. The phone will be shut off on March 31, but
email will continue to reach me.
In the meantime:
(a) If you are a residential customer, effectively immediately, I
will not make house visits or accept your system for servicing. If
you have a problem with your computer, please contact one of the
companies on the list below. If you bought your computer from Midgard
and it is still under warranty (less than three years old), please
see item E.
(b) If you are a business customer, from January 1-30, I will be
available for on-site work two days a week and will be available for
remote work during the other three days and after hours. Onsite work
will end on January 30. From January 30-March 31, my phone will continue to
be on and I can answer questions via phone or email. No other work of any kind will
be done.
(c) I will continue to host websites and provide backup services
without interruption. There is no ending date for hosting and backup
services.
(d) If you rely on Midgard for anti-spam protection, the anti-spam
provider, US Internet, will continue the service without
interruption. They will bill you directly for their Securence
anti-spam program.
(e) Warranties will be honored by the manufacturer, Seneca Data
(1-800-277-3432). Most machine bought within the last three years are
under warranty. Seneca Data will need the serial number from the
computer when you call.
(f) Some work has been scheduled prior to this announcement. Those
obligations will be fulfilled unless I am notified otherwise.

Hello All,
I will be on a big project for the rest of this week and all next week. During that time, I will only be available for remote work and for emergency work. Normal work will need to be scheduled after this period.

As many of you may know, we've been preparing to change our company name for quite some time. Well, we have finally done so and would like to offer you a warm welcome to Midgard Technologies. As Midgard Technologies, we will continue to provide the same services we have for the past 9 years, but with some great new additions. We are also working to create better relationships with our clients and to keep you all informed about your networks, and some great technologies that have come out.
